Album "Lost Tracks" by O-Naje (Audio Only)
Listen to these four original unreleased songs that were recorded between 2002 and 2009. How has my style changed?

We're looking back with our the EP, "Lost Tracks." The other day, I was driving around listening to a playlist I put together of songs I'd written but never released. I'd always planned to release these recordings at some point in the future, partly inspired by Nas's Lost Tapes album from a few years ago and Dam-Funk, an alternative funk producer and singer/songwriter whose music I admire. He recorded an album called Adolescent Funk while still in high school. He finally released it in 2010.

These albums are enjoyable to listen to since you can hear one's songwriting ability improve and mature. As a result, I'm offering a few songs to show you the journey, how my style and music have grown while staying consistent over time. "This needs to be heard by more people," I thought to myself as I drove about listening to "Where Do We Meet." It, like the others, is valuable. When I was extremely into Curtis Mayfield's lyrics and music, I wrote "We Gotta" Fight. "All in One" was one of the first times I recorded with a professional engineer in a real studio.

For the cover, I took a selfie with a Kodak camera. My hand was holding a black and mild cigar. I've upped my cigar game to a much higher level of quality. Ha. I had fun putting together a few tunes and going down memory lane, and I hope they inspire you as well.
